We moved our entire phone system to Avaya Cloud Office about 2 years ago. It is used in all areas of the business including call centers, personal office spaces, warehouses, and remote work environments. We have deployed hard phones, softphones, and cell phone applications. This has enabled our phone users to switch to remote work as needed without a lengthy IT support process. We are also heavy users of queue routing which has drastically improved our flexibility to move users in and out of different support areas in minutes.
  • Quick setup of new users
  • Call routing through queues
  • UI/UX experience for users
  • Documentation of admin procedures are limited and outdated
  • Simplification of some of the Admin screens
  • Release management of application updates
Any organization that makes ad hoc changes regularly to their phone system, onboards new users regularly, and has the need for routing that is simple to use should consider Avaya Cloud Office in their vendor selection process. It has made a nigh and day difference in the speed of support and changes management for our organization as well as offering a level of flexibility that we did not have previously.

My company has a call center with 3-5 agents taking inbound customer service calls. The team also completes many outbound calls throughout the day. We have our office phones for the rest of the company with Avaya Cloud Office and have been happy with the services.
  • Informs of potential downtime
  • Completes required maintenance when no one is at work
  • Sends monthly billing statements for our finance department
  • Some features such as logging an agent out remotely can be hard to locate
  • Live reporting must be refreshed to get accurate data
Our company hasn't had any issues with Avaya Cloud Office and would recommend it to anyone with a small to medium business in need of phone support.

One Avaya for everything

Before Avaya Cloud Office, we used to handle our communications like many others, one application for instant messaging, one for calls, one for email, a calendar, and a to-do. This represented a hustle to be switching within apps, checking one, updating the other and so. Avaya Cloud Office has moved that to a bad memory, I can now do everything from anywhere with my Avaya app.
  • Task management.
  • Great SMS integration.
  • Calls works great even with slow connections.
  • Refresh rate needs to be optimized or customizable.
  • Works slow on low end phones.
  • High resolution video may be delayed.
Avaya Cloud Office is well suited for multitasking agents, it allows the management of several business processes at the same time, I can take calls, take notes and create tasks from the same app. For an agent who is only handling calls and a couple of notes, it may be a bit intimidating.

We are using Avaya Cloud Office as a solution for our communication needs, we handle a lot of call requests from our customers and we have to use Avaya to integrate several communication channels in one single application. This is currently used by a few teams after we moved to work from home, but it was used before by admin staff and client services representatives.
  • Good video quality
  • Clear audio even with slow internet connection
  • Fast notifications
  • Slow refresh rate for some HD video
  • Learning curve is high
  • High hardware requirements
Avaya is well suited in work-from-home environments, it has allowed us to keep our calls at a professional level by enabling noise canceling and background removal.

When it comes to interdepartmental collaboration, this product has been a game-changer for my business. We've been able to collaborate in real-time thanks to the support of technology. When video collaborating, guarantees quick communication and efficiency.
  • Collaboration and assignment completion have been made easier by the use of the program.
  • Our team members are able to interact rapidly and exchange ideas because of the high-quality calls that are available.
  • Great with metered connections.
  • During video collaboration meetings, the software loads at a sluggish rate, especially when utilizing high quality. [In my experience], it's a waste of time that has to be addressed immediately.
  • Needs to make integrations easier
  • Inexperienced users have a hard time figuring out how to use its many functions.
Organizations dealing with large data transfers might benefit from the software's efficiency. Sharing files is also a breeze with this program. If you're looking for a fast and reliable method of transferring files, this is the way to go!

{Avaya] Cloud Office is only being used currently by certain departments, especially for video conferences. It addresses our need to have face to face conferences and during the pandemic, we have used it a lot more since we cannot meet in person. It offers better call quality than other solutions we currently have.
  • Video Conferencing
  • Advanced Logs
  • Custom Integrations
  • Screen Sharing
  • Slow refresh rate when displayed in Higher resolution monitors for conferencing.
  • Management of solutions can be a be a hard to understand.
  • Flexibility with previous legacy equipment.
Avaya Cloud Office is well suited for companies that need collaboration and constant communication with high fidelity in mind. It works very well with UCaaS environments and you can be integrated with other current solutions like CPaaS. You can use those advantages to connect with your own APIs, they can be from different cloud solutions as Salesforce, for example.

Avaya Cloud Office surprised us a lot. We started with a few months trial license and we liked it a lot. The software has many collaboration features like: VoIP, video conferencing, chat, presentations, and voicemail. The company acquired the license and today it has been used by almost everyone. The software allowed teams to work from home offices during the COVID-19 pandemic, with online meetings and VoIP contacts between employees for the continuity of activities, projects and services also outside the work office.
  • It is a software with cloud management that we use inside the office and also in the home office.
  • It has all the collaboration features.
  • Excellent technical support from Avaya.
  • Online meetings, chat and VoIP.
  • Cost savings.
  • The software needs to improve integration with other systems.
  • Price is expensive.
The solution is innovative aggregating all the corporate communication features that can be used from anywhere and from any device. Avaya Cloud Office is very good because it has cloud management and is easy to use, manage and install. It provides economy and flexibility giving the opportunity to produce from anywhere in times of pandemic. It is something I would recommend and would recommend yes to other colleagues from other companies of any size.
